Planet Earth - Deserts
This is a worksheet set for students to complete as they watch the Planet Earth deserts video. This is a great episode to use when demonstrating different adaptations that animals and plants employ when faced with a particularly harsh environment. Many of the deserts shown, such as the Gobi or the Atacama, are great examples of how the rainshadow effect can completely rob an ecosystem of moisture.
